Main Duties of the Job
Role Overview: As a Bank Band 7 Hand Therapist, you will work closely with patients referred from orthopaedics, primary and secondary care, as well as self-referrals. Your responsibilities will include:
* Providing expert assessment, treatment, and rehabilitation for hand and upper limb conditions.
* Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to optimise patient outcomes.
* Contributing to the development of evidence-based practice.
* Participating in in-house training and development programs.

Person Specification
Qualifications
* Current registration with relevant professional body.
* Enhanced Clinical Practice qualification, Level 6 or equivalent experience
* Relevant post-graduate hand therapy courses/achievements e.g. BAHT level II
Experience
* Demonstrable experience of managing patient's care at an enhanced level of practice with specific knowledge and skills in a field of hand therapy.
* Membership of Professional special interest group e.g. BAHT.
Skills
* Enhanced splinting skills, assessment procedures, wound management, Hand and wrist x-ray interpretation.
* Clinical reasoning, problem-solving and decision-making skills at an enhanced level.
* BAHT accreditation level II/III competency in specific skill, e.g. XR interpretation.

Salary: £46,148 to £52,809 a year (Salary dependent on bank hours worked)
