Band 7 - Pelvic Health Specialist Midwife
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Band 7 Midwife to join our expanding North Central London Perinatal Pelvic Health Service (PPHS), delivering specialist care to women and birthing people across community locations. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a developing, evidence‐based service designed to improve pelvic health outcomes during pregnancy and postnatally.
You will work as an autonomous practitioner alongside physiotherapists to provide holistic assessment, early intervention, and person‑centred support for pelvic floor dysfunction. The role includes leading clinics, offering specialist advice, and supporting pathways.
The service operates across several community locations, within North Central London. You will play a key role in strengthening early identification of symptoms, promoting preventative strategies, and supporting recovery through education and targeted interventions.
As a senior member of the team, you will contribute to service development, clinical governance, audit, and quality improvement initiatives. You will also support the upskilling of maternity staff through training, mentorship, and dissemination of current best practice in perinatal pelvic health.
This role is ideal for a midwife with a passion for pelvic health, a commitment to collaborative working, and a drive to improve experiences and outcomes for women and birthing people.
