As a Planner, you’ll be part of a team delivering an exceptional, distinctive and consistent Operational planning experience, which creates an environment where our people can thrive and do their best work.
Key Responsibilities:
1. To develop a professional and effective approach to operational Project planning with business and commercial awareness in order to maximise operational and commercial effectiveness of Dalkia Construction Projects
2. The Planner will contribute across all phases of an Dalkia Project:
3. Tender/ Feasibility and Award Validation phase
4. Build, maintain, review and monitor project programmes
5. Identify planning scope, constraints, and contract requirements
6. Identify resourcing requirements with the Operations team
7. Create, review and maintain Project Programmes in line with Imtech standards
8. Utilise the Dalkia Project Delivery System (PDS)
9. Reconcile Dalkia and sub-contractor plant, labour & material requirements
10. Support Project manager(s) offering technical knowledge on how to develop and implement an effective Project plan
11. Design, Engineering and Procurement phase
12. Monitor and manage progress of Project team against programme
13. Review record keeping, administration, budgets and time
14. Work proactively with Project team manager and team to ensure projects are on track
15. Produce relevant reports for the Project Manager
16. Prepare presentations and data analysis working with Project Managers and subject matter experts as required
17. Proactive approach to liaison across the operation and with clients/suppliers
18. Point of contact for Planning issues develop effective relationships
19. Able to influence impact of planning through effective working relationships
20. Embrace latest methodology and challenge status quo
21. Guide the Project manager with resource loading
22. Develop own performance and effectiveness using feedback and in discussion with planning manager

23. Working knowledge of Operational planning processes, practices and systems and the ability to drive their implementation
24. Ability to analyse and interpret operational plans and data in order to drive informed business decisions, and carry them out

Educational Qualification Required (preferred):
41. Level 4 HNC Qualification in Construction or Building Services Engineering subjects
42. Good general education 5 x GCSE at C/5 inc. Maths and English
43. Degree BEng/BSc in Construction or related Building Services Engineering would be helpful
44. Competence in MS Project or Asta Powerproject
Previous Work Experience Required:
45. Ideally 2 years of Construction project operations experience in a fast paced organisation
46. Site experience in M or E or other relevant discipline desirable
47. Experience should include a focus on performance management and talent/team development, change management and leadership coaching, as a Business Partner.
