Instrumentation & Controls Engineer
A pharmaceutical client of ours in Hertfordshire are seeking a skilled and proactive Instrumentation & Controls Engineer to join their dynamic engineering team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a high-tech, safety-conscious environment where quality and innovation are key.
What you’ll be doing:
1. Carrying out corrective and preventative instrumentation maintenance, ensuring schedules are met and equipment remains in peak condition.
2. Responding swiftly to emergency breakdowns to minimise downtime.
3. Reviewing and improving maintenance plans in collaboration with the Engineering Lead to ensure relevance, compliance, and technical accuracy.
4. Maintaining GxP-compliant documentation and generating accurate reports.
5. Leading small projects, from design and installation to commissioning of minor systems.
6. Identifying cost-effective and innovative working methods without compromising safety or quality.
7. Monitoring and maintaining stock of parts and equipment.
8. Ensuring all work is carried out to the highest safety standards and proactively addressing hazards.
