We’re supporting a major UK infrastructure and clean energy project that will play a critical role in the country’s journey to Net Zero. This is a rare opportunity for a Legal Counsel to join a high-profile, long-term project delivering secure, low-carbon electricity to millions of homes.
This role sits within a collaborative In House legal team at the heart of a complex, highly regulated project environment.
The Role
As Regulatory Legal Counsel you will:
* Provide legal advice on complex regulatory and commercial arrangements within a major infrastructure project
* Develop and deliver engaging training to build capability so that legal colleagues can advise with clarity and confidence
* Translate legal and regulatory requirements into clear, practical guidance and processes
* Partner with delivery and commercial teams to support compliance, governance and assurance frameworks
* Contribute to a culture of accountability and best-practice legal risk management
About You
* Qualified Solicitor or Barrister (England & Wales or equivalent)
* Experience in regulatory, infrastructure, energy, or major project environments
* Experience of training delivery
* Strong understanding of legal risk, compliance and assurance frameworks
* Confident communicator able to simplify complex legal concepts for diverse audiences
* Collaborative, proactive and comfortable working in a fast-paced project setting
Experience interacting with UK regulators or within regulated sectors would be advantageous.
