Job Overview
Postperson with Driving – Permanent, full‑time, 40 hours per week at Sevenoaks Delivery Office, TN13 1AA. Working 5 days a week across Monday – Sunday with hours from 10:00 – 18:30 and 13:30 – 21:00. Weekend work is required due to operational demand.
Responsibilities
* Deliver mail and parcels to local communities, handling all types of deliveries including tax returns, welfare benefits and online orders.
* Walk long periods and work outside in all weather conditions, maintaining a high standard of customer service.
* Drive a delivery vehicle using a full UK manual driving licence, with no more than 6 penalty points allowed.
* Operate within Royal Mail’s safety and operational procedures, ensuring accurate and timely delivery.
Qualifications
* Upbeat, independent and self‑motivated.
* Organised, punctual and ready to deliver great customer service.
* Thought of yourself as a people‑person, a friendly face in the community.
* Happy walking for long periods and working outside in any weather.
* Has a strong sense of community and takes pride in what you do.
* Has a full UK manual driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points.
