We have opportunities for highly motivated individuals to join our Nursing Teams within our Community Hospitals. We are looking for nurses with passion and commitment who hold patient experience and care at the heart of their nursing practice and who share our organisational values. As part of the nursing team you would work closely with the wider Multidisciplinary team including Occupational Therapists, Social Workers and Physiotherapists, enabling holistic and patient-centred care. We pride ourselves on delivering the highest quality care to our patients.
Vacancies and sites
We currently have vacancies at the following hospital site: Stroud. You will be asked to state a site preference during the application process, but you should be able to provide cover at other sites if needed.
Who we welcome
We welcome applications from both experienced Registered Nurses and newly qualified nurses. We can also consider applicants who would only be available to work night shifts. There are many opportunities to learn new skills and further your career at Gloucestershire Health and Care NHS Foundation Trust. If you are newly qualified, we offer a supportive learning environment with a mentor to guide you through the first months of your nursing career and enrollment in our preceptorship programme. For more experienced nurses, we support clinical and managerial development and provide access to academic programs. Key Responsibilities
* Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in a community hospital setting.
* Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to ensure the best outcomes for patients.
* Manage complex care situations, chronic disease, admission avoidance, and end-of-life care.
* Maintain accurate patient records and ensure confidentiality.
* Participate in continuous professional development and training.
