Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site position for a Conductive Education Specialist, servicing various outreach locations around Herefordshire/Worcestershire/Gloucestershire and Shropshire. The role involves conducting sessions to support children and adults with motor disorders, designing personalised plans to aid movement control and everyday activity participation. The specialist will collaborate with families and caregivers, document progress, and create a positive and inclusive learning environment. Administrative duties related to managing program documentation and interdisciplinary communication will also be required to ensure comprehensive support is delivered.
Qualifications
Qualified CES (Conductor), recent graduate, or final‑year student working toward qualification
Expertise in techniques such as conductive education and experience working with individuals with motor disorders, including cerebral palsy and Parkinson's disease
Strong ability to collaborate with families and caregivers and foster an inclusive and supportive environment
Proficiency in educational program development and monitoring progress
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and documentation skills
Strong understanding of special educational needs (SEN) and experience working in an educational or therapeutic setting
Patience, creativity, and a passion for empowering individuals with additional needs
