Quorn Foods are delighted to be recruiting for a Warehouse Manager to join our Operations team based out of our Methwold, Norfolk manufacturing plant.
What you'll be responsible for:
You will be responsible for leading and managing all warehouse operations, including the likes of goods in/out, stock control and dispatch. Ensuring compliance with food safety, hygiene and health & safety standards, you will actively monitor KPI's, inventory accuracy and stock for traceability and audit purposes.
With a sizable support team, you will be looked to to lead, train, develop and motivate your colleagues whilst effectively collaborating with cross-functional teams such as production, technical, engineering and planning to ensure smooth flow of stock and materials.
This is contractually based Monday - Friday, days/37.5 hours per week role, however there will be occassional requirement to be present on night shifts and weekends.
What experience you'll need to have:
- Demonstrable background in warehouse/logistics management, ideally within the food manufacturing industry
- Excellent understanding of food safety standards such as BRC, HACCP etc.
- Working knowledge of stock control systems and warehouse software, ideally SAP
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with a clear ability to build excellent working relationships with a varied stakeholder group
- A passion for healthy, sustainable products which are better for our consumers and the planet – you don’t have to be a vegetarian to work for Quorn!
