Responsibilities
* Manage and maintain strong customer relationships
* Coordinate with HSEQ auditors to maintain company accreditations
* Create, monitor, and update procedures within the Quality Management System
* Train and advise employees and management on HSEQ matters to ensure legal compliance
* Plan and conduct audits, documenting successes and areas for improvement
* Provide internal training on HSEQ topics
* Ensure company processes meet their intended outcomes
* Report on HSEQ performance and suggest improvements
* Promote customer focus and maintain the integrity of the HSEQ management system
* Conduct risk assessments and develop safe operational procedures
* Perform regular site inspections to ensure policies are followed
* Ensure safe and compliant working practices
* Develop health and safety strategies and policies
* Lead training sessions on QHSE matters
* Maintain records of inspections, incidents, and accidents, producing reports and statistics
* Stay updated on legislation and industry developments
* Attend relevant seminars and read professional journals
* Produce reports, newsletters, and bulletins
* Oversee safe installation of equipment and disposal of hazardous substances (e.g., asbestos)
* Advise on specialist areas such as fire regulations and occupational diseases
* Manage emergency procedures, signage, PPE, and COSHH controls
* Hold NEBOSH General or equivalent qualification
* Demonstrate passion and robust knowledge in HSEQ topics
* Work effectively both independently and as part of a team, meeting deadlines
* Proficient in MS Office suite
* Knowledge of risk assessments, COSHH, RIDDOR, and DSE regulations
* Auditor training/experience preferred
* Implement processes and change initiatives hands-on
* Hold a full UK driving license and be willing to travel
* Must have full rights to work in the UK (IDLR or Settled Status)
