Job Title: Warehouse Operative
Location: Sherborne, Dorset
Salary: £13.00 per hour
Enhanced Overtime: £19.50 per hour (for hours worked beyond contractual hours)
Night Premium: £14.95 per hour (between 22:00 – 05:00)
Working Hours: Seasonal shifts (Sunday - Thursday)
* November – February: 35 hours per week (16:00 - 23:30)
* March, April, September, October: 40 hours per week (16:00 - 00:30)
* May – August: 45 hours per week (16:00 - 01:30)
Duration: Permanent
We are seeking Warehouse Operatives to join a busy and dynamic warehouse team in Sherborne, Dorset. This role involves picking and palletizing frozen and chilled stock using headset technology to fulfill customer orders for next-day delivery.
The Job:
• Picking and palletizing frozen and chilled stock accurately and efficiently.
• Working as part of a large warehouse team in a fast-paced environment.
• Maintaining a clean and organised workspace.
• Ensuring accuracy and attention to detail while handling stock.
• Adapting to working in both frozen and chilled environments.
The Requirements:
• Previous warehouse experience is beneficial but not essential.
• Ability to work efficiently in a team in a fast-moving environment.
• Strong attention to detail to ensure order accuracy.
• Comfortable working in temperature-controlled environments (chilled and frozen).
• Good timekeeping, reliability, and a strong work ethic.
• Basic English communication skills for order processing and team collaboration.
