Job Responsibilities:
1. Provide specialist practitioner functions in the delivery of care to patients referred to the Tissue Viability Nursing Service.
2. Develop and deliver high-quality, patient-centered care, collaborating with the clinical team to meet Business Group and Trust objectives.
3. Deliver formal and informal training within the specialist field of Tissue Viability.
4. Act as a role model, ensuring practice is current and professionally delivered at all times.
5. Provide a comprehensive, evidence-based Tissue Viability Service across acute and community settings, including nursing homes, residential homes, specialist schools, and GP practices, caring for all ages.
Candidate Requirements:
* Experienced Band 6 Tissue Viability Specialist Nurse, or Band 5 nurse with 4 years post-registration experience aiming to develop into Band 6.
* Self-motivated, enthusiastic, with specialist knowledge of tissue viability.
* Ability to work autonomously within the scope of professional practice.
* Strong communication and presentation skills for effective team collaboration and patient engagement.
* Willingness to undergo an Enhanced DBS check and provide overseas police clearance if applicable.
