The role is available on a FT or PT basis with free parking and hybrid options. 23 days holiday plus bank holidays. Qualifications & Experience: We are looking for applicants who are AAT qualified, part-qualified or qualified by experience from working in a similar role. Strong knowledge of accounting principles as well as being proficient in Xero, QuickBooks or Sage. Most importantly, we are looking for someone who is proactive, detail-focused, and passionate about delivering an outstanding service. Key Responsibilities for the Accounts Assistant: * Assisting in the preparation of accounts for clients, including lead schedules. * Assisting with month-end processes, including reconciliations, journals and the preparation of management reports, VAT returns and other key control accounts. * Maintaining in constant communication with other team members in terms of progress or any potential issues which may arise. * Work independently and as part of a team to ensure deadlines are met. * Process sales and purchase invoices. * Demonstrate professionalism within the office environment whilst communicating with clients verbally or in writing. * Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory requirements as well as upholding confidentiality of sensitive information.
