We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and creative classroom practitioner to join our friendly, hardworking and supportive team in this popular village school on a full-time basis. We are looking for motivated and dedicated teachers who have vision and imagination, both passionate about children’s learning and committed to high standards of achievement. This would be an excellent opportunity for someone with teaching experience to make a change in their career and join our school. ECTs are welcome to apply, and school visits are encouraged. The roles will involve working with experienced members of the teaching team.

1. have qualified teacher status
2. aspire to be an excellent classroom practitioner
3. have a clear understanding of the provision necessary for successful learning and teaching
4. be able to provide a stimulating, organised and educationally rich learning environment
5. have a commitment to high expectations and target setting to ensure continuing improvement
6. be able to use assessment as a tool to aid future learning
7. have personal presence and confidence, warmth and sensitivity, flexibility and maturity of approach, enthusiasm and a sense of humour.
8. have the ability to communicate effectively and positively with pupils, colleagues and parents
9. be ready to drive school improvement through contributions to teams across the school
10. be willing to contribute to the range of extracurricular activities offered by the school
11. enjoy working as part of hard working, dedicated and fun team

Salary: dependent on experience (MPS/UPS)
