Position
Bank Porter/Driver based at University Hospital Crosshouse.
What You Will Do
Provide a wide and varied range of Portering, Security and Waste Management Services which support Clinical services throughout NHS Ayrshire and Arran in line with National Standards. Applicants should be physically fit. Previous experience in a similar role is an advantage; full training will be provided.
Knowledge, Training And/or Experience Required To Do The Job
* Knowledge of Health & Safety
* IT computer literate
* Good Communication
* Ability to comply with Departmental Procedures within a very large department
* Ability to work individually and in a team setting
* Ability to complete work schedule within designated timescale
* Expected to work with minimal supervision
* Flexible approach to work and working hours, post cover a 24 hour/365 day period
* Present positive attitude. Courteous/Polite. Clean/Tidy appearance
* High level of mobility and stamina
* Flexible approach to work routines/areas
* Availability to complete induction programme / attend mandatory courses
Hours
As and When Required covering various shift patterns over 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. A focus will be on availability for back, night and all weekend shifts.
