We have a rewarding opportunity to work with an individual living in their family home in Stoke-On-Trent. This person has complex clinical needs, including PEG feeding and oral suctioning. They are quadriplegic, suffer from cerebral palsy and epilepsy, but these do not define them. They enjoy hobbies such as listening to music, pampering sessions, and community visits. Local knowledge of Stoke-On-Trent and the ability to drive a car with a full UK Driving Licence are essential.
Enriching activities are a key part of your support, and an empathetic approach will make a real difference. Previous experience in:
* Complex Care
* Epilepsy
* Cerebral Palsy
* PEG Feeding
What will your shift involve?
You will provide high-quality care on a 2:1 basis, ensuring compassionate, tailored support. Responsibilities include engaging in meaningful activities, community outings to promote social interaction, and household tasks to maintain a comfortable, independent living environment. Clear communication in their preferred manner is essential to build trust.
