Job description
Reporting to the Sales Team Leader you will support the sales business unit by providing overall customer account management, customer service and client support to your allocated customer accounts.
This position will satisfy customer needs and expectations in a manner that builds strong business rapport and customer trust and confidence, securing existing business, while promoting growth of future business by offering efficient, reliable and quality service and support. This will involve:-
1. Proactively pursue customer orders & agreed customer actions to ensure orders are produced as per customer requirements by:
2. Working closely with sales, demand planning, daily production and planning departments to ensure orders are fulfilled on time and in full (OTIF)
3. Being the first point of contact with designated customers in relation to all issues.
4. Supporting the delivery of departmental targets and KPIs through effective customer relationship management
5. Supporting department in improving OTIFIC
6. Ensuring all administration is transparent and visible to all parties to ensure accounts can be managed by an team member as and when required
7. Operating an ERP / sales order processing system; as well as
8. Responding to adhoc telephone queries as and when required
9. Preparing Quotes
10. Raising PO's
The Person
The ideal candidate will have the following skills and attributes to be successful in this role:
11. A reasonable standard of education and a high level of emotional intelligence
12. Previous account management experience
13. Previous experience of ERP / Sales Order Processing systems
14. Strong inter-personal and influencing skills, with the ability to build credible relationship with customers and multiple departments within the business
15. Ability to work to a very high standard whilst under pressure
16. Highly organized with excellent time management skills
17. Have a sound working knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially excel
