What youll be doing as an Early Years Practitioner
As part of our nursery team, youll support childrens physical, emotional, social, and intellectual development while delivering high-quality care and education. Youll work closely with colleagues and parents to meet each childs individual needs, celebrate their progress, and create a nurturing environment. Your day-to-day tasks could include:
* Planning and leading activities that inspire learning and creativity
* Supporting routines, meals, and playtime
* Being a key person for a group of children, building strong relationships
* Contributing to room leadership and team development (for leaders and deputies)
* Ensuring a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment in line with EYFS guidelines
What were looking for
* Level 2 childcare qualification (Level 3 desirable)
* Experience working with children in early years aged 05, including those with additional needs
* Strong understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework
* Excellent communication skills to work effectively with children, parents, and colleagues
* Enthusiasm, motivation, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team
