Our client is seeking a highly organised, customer-focused Tax Support Executive to join their growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys administration, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is passionate about delivering a positive customer experience - without the pressure of a traditional sales role. The successful candidate will play a key role in retaining clients, supporting Tax Specialists, and ensuring customers receive the best possible service throughout their journey. What’s on Offer? Job type: Full time, permanent Location: Farnham Salary: £Competitive Commission Comprehensive Benefits Package Key Responsibilities: Provide administrative support to Tax Specialists, including communicating with clients via phone and email Act as the key link between Sales and the Tax team to ensure smooth onboarding of new clients Maintain and update internal databases with accurate client details and progress notes Build and maintain strong client relationships as the main point of contact for queries and updates Promote and monitor clients’ Open Banking accounts, ensuring clients remain connected and informed of the benefits Meet set KPIs relating to outbound calls, service upgrades, and client retention Contact clients to obtain missing application or payment information Process changes to client subscription packages, including upgrades and downgrades Identify gaps in client data and liaise with customers to complete details required for quarterly returns Advise clients on additional products and services that may benefit them Skills, Experience, and Training Requirements: Essential: Experience working in a fast-paced, customer service environment, ideally office or phone-based Comfortable spending the majority of the day on the phone with a clear, confident telephone manner Strong listening skills with the ability to handle objections effectively Previous experience in up-selling and cross-selling products or services Target-driven with a focus on departmental objectives IT literate with working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook Excellent organisational and time management skills Ability to work independently using own initiative, as well as take direction when required Confident prioritising tasks and managing competing demands in a high-pressure environment Strong written and verbal communication skills Proactive, positive, and professional approach to work Desirable: Understanding or previous experience of Personal Tax Experience within the construction or logistics sectors Previous experience working with HMRC Our Ideal Candidate: Highly organised with strong attention to detail Customer-focused and relationship-driven Confident, professional, and approachable on the phone Motivated by delivering excellent service and supporting client retention A team player who enjoys working collaboratively across departments How to Apply: If you have the skills, enthusiasm, and customer-first mindset to succeed in this role, we would love to hear from you.
