Pastoral Support Advisor
to join our team, with a core focus on student welfare and behaviour. This role is crucial in creating a safe and supportive school environment where all students can flourish. A key part of your responsibilities will be to
support the Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL)
in all aspects of safeguarding, including assisting with case management, maintaining confidential records, and helping to ensure the school's safeguarding policies are consistently applied. While you'll also be involved in managing student behaviour, the primary emphasis of this position is to act as a crucial link in our safeguarding chain, providing immediate and effective support to students in need and working collaboratively to ensure their safety and well-being. You'll be a visible and trusted point of contact for students, staff, and parents, offering guidance and pastoral support with empathy and professionalism.
The successful candidate must have excellent Microsoft Office Skills and we would prefer someone with Arbor experience but this is not essential as full training will be given.
This is an exciting and challenging position, which would start as soon as possible.
The hours of work are 37 hours per week over 5 days to 4.00pm.
