We have an exciting opportunity for a People Administrator to join our People team based in our Central Support Office in Lasswade. You will be an experienced administrator and confident communicator who will own all aspects of administration required for the People team. You will be the first point of contact, taking a lead in managing our ticket desk – handling a range of queries and escalating, when required, to the appropriate specialist. You will support with recruitment/onboarding, learning and development, compliance, and system administration.

Responsibilities

1. Act as first line support on the People team ticket desk and shared email inboxes. Reviewing incoming queries and resolving where possible.
2. Escalating more advanced queries to the appropriate People team specialist and supporting them in resolution
3. Recruitment – support the full company recruitment process including recruitment system administration, issuing of onboarding letters/contracts, arranging interviews and candidate communication
4. Onboarding – support the full company onboarding process including arranging CSO inductions, following workflows for issuing of company system credentials/equipment.
5. Learning and Development – support the Learning and Development team with general LMS system queries/admin and arranging external training
6. Payroll – ad hoc support to Payroll function with query resolution and system support
7. Employee relations – support the People Operations team in administration tasks for the full employee relations lifecycle
8. Checking and tracking compliance documentation to ensure records are kept up to date
9. Systems support – creating posts, new start onboarding and contract changes
10. Project work and opportunities to learn more around all areas of the People strategy
11. Daily use of Microsoft Office including maintenance of spreadsheets, calendar management, regular use of Microsoft Teams and letter creation.
