Our client, a well-established bakery business based in Northern Ireland, is seeking experienced Bakers and Flour Confectioners to join their expanding production team. The successful candidates will have a strong background in traditional, from-scratch baking, with a minimum of five years’ experience in a similar environment. The role offers a supportive and professional workplace.
Key Responsibilities:
* Weighing, measuring, and scaling ingredients in line with production requirements
* Following recipes accurately to ensure consistency and quality
* Operating and maintaining bakery equipment, including ovens, mixers, hot plates, and pastry brakes
* Preparing, baking, and finishing a range of products to a high standard
* Icing and decorating cakes, including piping work and presentation
* Maintaining excellent hygiene and food safety standards (training and certification provided)
* Contributing to an efficient, collaborative, and positive team environment
Essential Criteria:
* Minimum 5 years’ experience in professional baking or flour confectionery
* Demonstrated skill in traditional bakery methods and equipment use
* Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
* Must already be residing in the UK and currently sponsored under SOC code 5432 (Baker) on a valid Certificate of Sponsorship (CoS)
