Job Description
Charity Jobs NI, part of the Happy Jobs group, is partnering with Keep Northern Ireland Beautiful to recruit a proactive, organized, and dedicated Local Environmental Quality Coordinator. This role involves coordinating environmental quality initiatives within the LEQ department, working closely with the Local Environmental Quality Manager, and supervising departmental officers to ensure effective delivery and stakeholder engagement.
Key Responsibilities
1. Coordination: Manage resources, including field officers, to deliver programme outputs effectively within budget and deadlines.
2. Project Management: Lead planning, implementation, and reporting of environmental quality initiatives.
3. Surveying and Certifications: Coordinate certification programmes such as Blue Flag, Green Flag, and conduct cleanliness surveys across boroughs and neighborhoods.
4. Community Engagement: Promote community participation in sustainability initiatives and expand geographical coverage.
