Sales Adviser Salford Quays, M50 3SP Full Time hours (Monday to Friday only)
Salary is from £25,200 plus commission
Permanent - Full Time - 37.5 hours per week (Monday-Friday only)
This role is office based with potential for hybrid working options available once signed off - this is not a fully remote position.
What you'll be doing
Acting as a subject matter expert, you will work as part of a team handling new business enquiries and managing the existing business retention portfolio.
You'll provide quality support to clients in line with Bupa standards, putting them ‘at the heart of everything we do’ while working to achieve sales targets in line with business plans.
You'll comply with regulatory and legislative requirements as appropriate and support senior team members in delivering service improvement initiatives.
You'll build relationships and expand your portfolio, contributing to our culture of outstanding performance.
What’s a typical day?
You will provide quality client service to potential customers and clients in line with Bupa standards and reputation, ensuring telephony activity requirements are met.
You will take ownership of customer queries, identify and understand customer needs, and resolve them appropriately.
You will aim to achieve quality and volume targets as outlined in the business plan, demonstrating a thorough understanding of Bupa products and services and selling appropriately.
All your activities will comply with FCA or CQC regulations. Furthermore, you will engage with clients and collaborate with peers and colleagues across Bupa to utilize all available resources to deliver the highest quality service.
Key Skills / Qualifications needed for this role:
You should have telephony-based sales experience and a confident, clear technique.
Enthusiasm and a desire to learn and understand Bupa products and policies, with an understanding of the importance of working ethically and compliantly in a regulated environment.
An empathetic and sensitive approach, with strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills.
Excellent written communication skills.
You will be a collaborative team player, capable of taking ownership of queries to resolution using outstanding communication skills, with a consultative and credible manner.
A customer-focused, target-driven, and flexible approach.
Experience in sales would be advantageous but is not essential.
