Due to the expansion of our organisation, our IT & Telecoms Department is recruiting an IT 2nd level Technician.
The role will primarily focus on delivering 2nd/3rd line support and operational maintenance across all technologies used by DHU. The technician will work closely with third-party partners to resolve incidents and problems. This position involves working as part of a shift rota to provide on-site IT services 7 days a week, including bank holidays, and may also involve being part of an on-call rota.
The main responsibilities include managing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and resolving issues related to end-user desktops, end-user infrastructure, fixed telephony, and mobile telephony equipment across DHU locations throughout the East Midlands. When no other IT staff are available, the technician will also cover 1st line support duties.
