Job Description
3. Manage and oversee the financial reporting process, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant regulations.
4. Prepare and present financial statements and management accounts to stakeholders.
5. Lead the budgeting and forecasting processes to support strategic decision-making.
6. Ensure compliance with tax regulations, including VAT and corporate tax filings.
7. Provide financial insights to support operational and strategic goals.
8. Oversee cash flow management and working capital optimisation.
9. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure robust financial controls are in place.
10. Support audits and liaise with external auditors as required.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Interim Financial Controller should have:
11. A professional accountancy qualification such as ACA, ACCA, or CIMA.
12. Proven experience in financial management within the Manufacturing/Consumer Goods sector.
13. Strong technical accounting skills and knowledge of UK accounting standards.
14. Proficiency in financial software and advanced Excel skills.
15. Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
16. The ability to communicate complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
