Your Role
We are looking for a skilled and experienced Radiology Technician to join our dynamic healthcare team. In this role, you will operate state-of-the-art radiology equipment to capture diagnostic imaging studies, ensuring top-notch patient care in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Operate and maintain radiology equipment to capture high-quality diagnostic images.
* Collaborate with radiologists and physicians to determine the best imaging techniques.
* Prepare patients for procedures, ensuring their comfort and safety.
* Adhere to radiation safety procedures to protect patients and staff.
* Analyze images for clarity and accuracy, addressing any issues promptly.
* Maintain accurate patient records, documenting procedures and observations.
* Stay updated on advances in radiology technology and participate in professional development.
* Assist in managing the radiology department, including scheduling and supply maintenance.
* Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.
Qualifications
* Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Radiology Technician or in a similar role.
* Proficiency in operating various radiology equipment, especially X-ray technology.
* Strong knowledge of radiology safety procedures and best practices.
* Excellent patient care skills with the ability to explain complex procedures.
* Ability to analyze and interpret radiology images accurately.
* Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to thrive under pressure.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective teamwork.
* A degree in radiology technology from an accredited institution.
* Certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or equivalent.
