Overview
We are working with Schools and Local Authorities in your area and are looking for Core Subject (Maths, English, or Science) SEND Tutors and Teachers to transform the lives of Young People with SEND and SEMH needs in your community. This position involves engaging with us as a Worker, via temporary and fixed term contracts as and when they arise. You will work through a contract for service and will be paid via PAYE. This is not a self-employed tutoring/self-employed teaching position. We are a child-centred company committed to reimagining the world of support for vulnerable young people for the better, supporting pupils and students ranging from KS1 to KS5 (as appropriate for your skills), referred by local authorities and schools by planning and delivering flexible, trauma-informed tutoring and mentoring.
Responsibilities
* CPD and employee mentoring: TES CPD suite and professional mentor access
* SEND Support Team: Support to keep a team around you and the child
* Community and Company Events: Knowledge sharing and resources
* Referral Programme: Get rewarded for successful tutor referrals
* Plan and report for lessons and provide regular feedback on student progress
Requirements / Qualifications
* Location: You must be based in the UK with the right to work in the UK, even for remote/online jobs
* Experience: 2+ years teaching experience, ideally working with SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD, and/or PMLD in a holistic and trauma-informed way
* Subjects: Familiarity teaching English, Maths, and/or Science
* Qualifications: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS)
* Compliance: Enhanced DBS (we can facilitate this if needed) and 2+ professional references
* Safeguarding: Knowledge of safeguarding and creating a safe learning environment
