Urban Planters – Roof Terrace Maintenance Supervisor

We are looking for a Roof Terrace Maintenance Supervisor to join our Brentwood Branch. Passion for staff development and excellent customer service is essential.
Responsibilities
* Act as the direct supervisor and line manager for maintenance technicians.
* Provide frontline support in customer engagement to drive business excellence.
* Assist the Operations Manager in optimising the productivity of the technician team.
* Ensure quality control measures are followed and conduct regular quality audits on customer sites.
* Carry out quarterly Technical Performance Assessments to support technician development plans.
* Oversee procurement and ensure technicians have necessary equipment.
* Offer daily technical support and training to frontline technicians.
* Spend at least four days a week in the field.
* Lead the team in developing and implementing "Best Practices" for service delivery.
* Plan and organise routes for branch technicians.
* Handle customer complaints and queries with support from branch operations managers and account managers.
* Support surveys to establish accurate requirements.
* Occasionally cover maintenance contractual work when required.
* Provide cover for other members of the management team and other contracts as necessary.
Requirements
* Full UK driving licence held for more than two years with no more than six penalty points.
* Demonstrated leadership skills in a working environment.
* Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and adapt quickly to change.
* Minimum of one year experience in a Technician role.
* Self‑motivated problem‑solver.
* Excellent customer service and communication skills.
* Resilient with a positive attitude.
* Capability to work unsupervised and under pressure.
* Experience managing within a service delivery environment is advantageous; training will be provided.
* Flexible working patterns to support business needs.
