Boeing United Kingdom Limited is excited to offer opportunity for aSimulator Flight Instructor (Flight Training)to join our team in Crawley, UK.
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at Crawley, UK.
Position Responsibilities:
1. Conduct flight crew training of customer pilots during the full flight simulator phase of training at both local and remote, including international, locations.
2. Conduct, as tutor, training of new TRIs and SFIs both in the classroom and in the simulator.
3. The ability to perform all of the duties required of a Flight Training Technical Knowledge Instructor, including procedures training and technical instruction.
4. Conduct thorough briefings prior to each training session, as well as debriefings at the end of each training session, to ensure that the customer is fully aware of the training profile, associated pilot competencies, required standards, and his/her performance. Provide a brief outline of the training events for future sessions.
5. Evaluate and accurately document training session performance and progress in the relevant records and reports.
6. Report any customer training problems or conflicts to Flight Training management
7. Perform non-instructional duties as directed by Head of Training, including course development and trial tasks, customer liaison, audits and revisions of existing training programmes.
8. Communicate with the simulator maintenance technicians to report any simulator problems or malfunctions
9. Under the direction of Head of Training, Chief Flight Instructor and Chief Theoretical Knowledge Instructor, uphold Boeing instructional standards, including the conduct of Standardisation Checks on other Boeing and contract instructors.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
10. UK and EASA SFI/TRI (on Boeing type(s))
11. Extensive experience of line operations on Boeing Aircraft
12. Familiar with the concepts of Competency Based Training and Assessment.
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
13. UK and EASA SFE/TRE (on Boeing type(s))
