The Architectural Technician Role:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Architectural Technician to join a growing Design and Technical consultancy based near Leeds city centre. The firm has a strong reputation for delivering detailed design and technical packages across a wide range of residential schemes.
You will play a key role in the preparation of site layouts, technical drawings and working drawing packages for housebuilding projects at various stages, from planning through to delivery. A keen eye for layout efficiency and compliance with UK regulations is essential.
The role offers excellent long-term prospects, exposure to a range of project types and the opportunity to work alongside experienced Design professionals within the team.
To be considered for the Architectural Technician position:
1. At least 2 years' experience in a similar role within the housebuilding or residential sector
2. Strong proficiency in producing layout plans and working drawings
3. Excellent understanding of UK Building Regulations and NHBC standards
4. Proficient in AutoCAD (Revit experience desirable but not essential)
5. Able to work collaboratively within a technical team and communicate effectively
6. A background in working on volume housing or residential-led developments is highly desirable
