Job Description
The School IT Technician will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting hardware, software, and network systems within the school. They will provide technical support to staff and students, ensuring all systems operate efficiently and securely.
1. Install, configure, and maintain computers, printers, and other peripherals.
2. Manage and support network infrastructure, including Wi-Fi, routers, and switches.
3. Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and connectivity issues promptly.
4. Assist staff and students with technical problems and provide user support.
5. Maintain inventory of hardware and software assets.
6. Ensure cybersecurity protocols are followed and perform routine system backups.
7. Collaborate with school administration on technology upgrades and initiatives.
8. Stay updated with the latest technological trends relevant to educational environments.
Requirements
1. Proven experience as an IT Technician.
2. Knowledge of computer hardware, software, and network systems.
3. Familiarity with operating systems.
4. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
5. Excellent communication and customer service skills.
