We are looking for a Planning Manager to join our Energy team in Watford.
What you'll do:
* Develop a planning approach aligning with customer and Skanska requirements, focusing on positive project impact.
* Lead and develop the project planning team.
* Establish collaborative project-level planning to engage the entire team using diverse programme presentations (time chainage, 4D, short-term planning, phasing diagrams).
* Analyse the programme to identify improvements, reduce risks, and address potential issues for strategic decisions.
What you'll bring to the role:
* Significant planning experience with a Tier 1 infrastructure contractor.
* Experience with various planning methods and planning software.
* Understanding of the construction market and all project stages.
* Knowledge of construction methods, plant, equipment, and labour requirements.
* Technical knowledge of construction techniques, principles, and best practices.
* Degree or HNC in Civil Engineering or Construction.
* Site management with an infrastructure contractor.
