Are you an experienced and passionate kaiako with a strong love for curriculum, assessment, and inspiring others?
We are seeking a curriculum leader to join our team at our Merivale centre, supporting high quality teaching and learning and leading our curriculum.
This is a 25 hour per week position, and we are flexible with how these hours are worked, we are happy to work with the right applicant.
About the role
This is a key leadership position where you will:
* Lead and support curriculum design aligned with Te Whāriki
* Guide and grow kaiako capability in assessment, planning, and evaluation
* Foster a culture of inquiry, reflection, and continuous improvement
* Support culturally responsive and bicultural practice across the centre
* Work alongside the Centre Leader to ensure strong alignment with our philosophy and strategic goals
About you
You will be someone who:
* Is a qualified and experienced ECE kaiako
* Has a strong understanding of curriculum, assessment, and internal evaluation
* Is passionate about supporting and mentoring others
* Demonstrates strong bicultural practice and commitment to Te Tiriti o Waitangi
* Brings a collaborative, positive and professional approach
* Is confident leading conversations around teaching practice and improvement
