HGV CLASS 2 DRIVER – NEW PASSES WELCOME – BRISTOLPeople Solutions are currently recruiting for HGV Class 2 Drivers to join our well-established client based in Bristol and the surrounding areas.This is a fantastic opportunity offering excellent rates of pay, ongoing work, and long-term progression for both experienced and newly qualified drivers.This role would suit candidates with experience as a LGV Class 2 Driver, Category C Driver, Truck Driver, Rigid Driver or Delivery Driver.Shift Pattern• Monday to Friday• 06:00am startsSalary• £29,000 – £35,000 per annumBenefitsAs an HGV Class 2 Driver, you will receive:• Excellent rates of pay• Ongoing work with full training and support• Weekly pay• New passes accepted• Immediate starts available• Company discounts after qualifying period• Staff canteen and free onsite parking• Employee wellbeing programmeDay-to-Day DutiesAs an HGV Class 2 Driver, your duties will include:• Delivering metals throughout the South West of England using dedicated delivery routes• Operating a range of vehicles including 7.5t, 18t and 26t vehicles• Ensuring deliveries are completed safely and on time• Vehicles will be pre-loaded with unloading completed via customer forklifts• Completing loading and unloading duties safely and accurately• Carrying out daily vehicle checks and reporting defects• Adhering to all road safety and traffic regulations• Maintaining accurate delivery paperwork and records• Communicating effectively with dispatch, customers, and site staffEssential SkillsTo be successful as an HGV Class 2 Driver, you will need:• A valid UK Category C Licence• A valid CPC Card and Digital Tachograph Card• No more than six penalty points for minor offences• No IN, DR, DD or CD endorsement codes• Reliable, professional, and punctual attitude• Good communication and customer service skills• Good understanding of road safety and complianceDesirable Experience• Previous commercial or multi-drop delivery experience• Experience handling large or bulky goods• Good customer-facing experienceTraining• Full industry-related training provided• Ongoing support and development throughout your assignmentApplyIf you are ready to join a respected logistics business offering strong pay, stability, and genuine opportunities for growth, apply today by clicking the link below or contact our recruitment team for more information.People Solutions do not charge candidates any fees or request deposits at any stage of the recruitment process.TPBN1_UKTJ
