Base salary: £90,000 - 100,000

As part of our next phase of growth, JPC is evolving into two distinct but tightly integrated business units:

* Agency – delivering core marketing and activation services
* Growth Consultancy – delivering outcome-led sales and revenue transformation services


The Growth Consultancy focuses on high-impact, senior-level engagements including:

* Account-Based Growth (ABG) and Deal-Based Marketing (DBM) programmes supporting complex, high-value enterprise opportunities
* Revenue transformation programmes for mid-cap and fast-growth technology businesses scaling from c. £500m revenue through to multi‑billion enterprise organisations


This role sits at the centre of that ambition.


The Role

We are seeking a Growth Consultancy Director to join JPC’s Senior Leadership Team and play a pivotal role in shaping, scaling and leading our Growth Consultancy Business Unit.


This is a rare opportunity for a senior consulting or strategic leader who combines sharp strategic thinking with operational grip and commercial discipline – someone who enjoys turning ambitious ideas into consistently excellent delivery.


The role is deliberately designed to complement the Managing Partner of the Growth Consultancy. The Managing Partner will be focused on opportunity spotting, big-picture strategy, senior client challenge and long-term growth, the Growth Consultancy Director will act as the operational, delivery and commercial backbone of the consulting practice – ensuring quality, rigour, follow-through and day-to-day excellence.


Over a three-year horizon, the role carries a clear pathway to executive leadership and equity, with the longer-term ambition of becoming Managing Director / Partner of the Growth Consultancy Practice.


Core Purpose of the Role

The Growth Consultancy Director is accountable for the day-to-day success, quality and commercial performance of JPC’s Growth Consultancy.


The role exists to ensure that:

* Consulting strategy is developed and translated into high-quality, outcome-led delivery
* Client commitments are met consistently and credibly at senior level
* Teams are well-led, supported and held to clear standards
* The Consulting Business Unit operates with financial, operational and delivery discipline
* JPC’s consulting IP is codified, scalable and commercially valuable


In short, this role ensures that JPC’s Growth Consultancy is operationally excellent, commercially robust and deeply trusted by clients.


What You’ll Be Responsible For


Consulting Leadership & Delivery Excellence

* Lead the delivery of JPC’s consulting services across ABG, DBM and revenue transformation engagements
* Personally plan, lead and facilitate high-impact client workshops and senior stakeholder sessions
* Set clear delivery direction, ensuring work is tightly aligned to defined client outcomes and commercial objectives
* Review and quality-assure all consulting outputs, maintaining consistently high standards
* Step into complex or high-risk engagements as needed to set standards, unblock issues or course-correct delivery
* Act as a trusted advisor to senior client leaders, constructively challenging thinking and guiding decision-making


Client Relationship Ownership & Revenue Growth

* Take senior ownership of key consulting client relationships, with accountability for satisfaction, retention and growth
* Build deep, trusted relationships with CROs, CMOs and C-suite-1 leaders
* Identify and convert expansion opportunities within existing accounts, working closely with the Managing Partner
* Initially carry a personal revenue target, progressing to full P&L ownership for the Growth Consultancy Business Unit
* Ensure engagements deliver both measurable client impact and strong commercial outcomes


Commercial & Operational Leadership

* Own day-to-day P&L management for the Growth Consultancy, including revenue forecasting, margin control, utilisation and cost management
* Lead annual and quarterly planning cycles, including budgets, resourcing plans and delivery roadmaps
* Ensure consulting work is scoped, priced and delivered profitably, with clear guardrails on scope and change control
* Establish delivery governance, reporting and performance rhythms that provide clear visibility of progress, risk and opportunity
* Work closely with Finance and Operations to improve forecasting accuracy, billing discipline and cash flow
* Build pragmatic operational processes that improve consistency and scalability without adding unnecessary bureaucracy


Consulting IP, Productisation & Proposition Development

* Codify JPC’s consulting models, frameworks and methodologies into clear, repeatable intellectual property
* Support the development of productised consulting offers and subscription-based propositions
* Play a leading role in shaping and refining JPC’s revenue transformation propositions for fast-growth and mid-cap organisations
* Contribute to thought leadership through POVs, frameworks and market-facing content that builds credibility and demand


Team Leadership, Line Management & Culture

* Act as a player-coach: hands-on where required, while actively developing others to lead delivery
* Take direct line management responsibility for senior consulting, strategy and delivery leads
* Set clear objectives, performance standards and development plans across the consulting team
* Establish predictable delivery and management cadence (weekly, monthly, quarterly)
* Build a high-trust, low-ego consulting culture rooted in empathy, collaboration and excellence
* Play an active role in recruitment, onboarding and capability development within the Growth Consultancy


Senior Leadership Contribution

* Sit on JPC’s Senior Leadership Team, contributing to firm-wide strategy and growth planning
* Partner closely with the Managing Partner of Growth Consultancy as a complementary leader – providing operational grip, delivery discipline and commercial rigour
* Help free the Managing Partner’s capacity to focus on market development, strategic partnerships and long-term growth
* Contribute to building a consulting business valued at £7m+ over the next five years through sustainable growth, retained income and scalable IP


About You

You are operating – or ready to operate – at Partner / Principal level, with a background spanning consulting, agency leadership, commercial strategy, revenue transformation or senior GTM roles.


You bring:

* Proven experience leading complex consulting or transformation engagements with senior commercial leaders
* Strong credibility with CROs, CMOs and revenue leadership teams
* A sales-led mindset with a deep understanding of how marketing enables revenue
* Confidence challenging clients respectfully and constructively
* Experience expanding and retaining strategic accounts
* A genuine passion for building and scaling consulting IP
* Comfort owning operational detail without losing sight of the bigger picture
* An affinity for technology, data and AI and their role in modern revenue organisations

* You progress towards Managing Director / Partner of the Consulting Practice with equity participation
