Quality/Compliance Manager
Location: Preston
Working Hours: Full-time, Monday – Thursday 08:00 am – 4:30 pm, and Friday 08:00 am – 1:00 pm
Salary: £40,000 - £45,000 (Dependent upon experience)

The Role
* Maintain and retain existing approvals, including ISO9001, AS9100 and customer-specific approvals
* Improve compliance with customer requirements across all relevant processes
* Lead internal, external and supplier audits
* Drive continuous improvement initiatives across compliance systems
* Conduct compliance checks and approvals at customer enquiry and order stages
* Implement and maintain regulatory compliance systems, including ethical sourcing and export requirements
* Deliver training and raise awareness to support compliance with customer expectations
* Create and maintain documentation to evidence compliance
* Monitor associated processes to ensure ongoing conformity and suitability
Requirements
Essential
* Proven experience managing Quality processes
* Strong document writing experience to support compliance systems
* Good understanding of engineering processes and technical specifications
* Demonstrable experience improving systems with a focus on compliance management
* Proven team player with a collaborative approach
* Customer-facing experience
* Proficient in Microsoft IT packages
* Excellent attention to detail
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* Full UK driving licence
* Ability and willingness to travel outside the UK
Desirable
* Experience in Environmental and Health & Safety Management Systems and/or environments
* Commercial and strategic awareness within manufacturing or a similar industry
