Job Description

As a Business Development Manager, you will be at the forefront of expanding the client's footprint within the UK. This role offers the chance to combine commercial acumen with technical understanding, engaging directly with decision-makers across a wide range of industries. You will be responsible for driving growth, building strong customer relationships, and identifying new opportunities to deliver value-added solutions.Key Responsibilities

3. Develop and implement strategies to grow sales and market share across defined sectors.
4. Build and nurture long-term relationships with customers, distributors, and key stakeholders.
5. Identify new business opportunities and drive solution-led sales conversations.
6. Collaborate with technical and operations teams to deliver customer-focused solutions.
7. Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback to inform growth plans.

The Successful Applicant

The experience required for the successful Business Development Manager will be:-

8. Proven track record in business development or sales, ideally within engineering, manufacturing, or industrial solutions.
9. Strong commercial awareness with the ability to identify opportunities and close deals.
10. Excellent relationship-building skills, with experience engaging both technical and commercial stakeholders.
11. Self-driven, results-oriented, and comfortable working independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment.
12. Knowledge of fluid systems, valves, fittings, or technical products (advantageous but not essential).
