Job Title: Therapeutic Practitioner – Children’s Mental Health Home
Location: Friday Bridge, Wisbech
Salary: £13.60 per hour
Hours: Full-Time | 9am-5pm

We are seeking a Therapeutic Practitioner to join our dedicated team in a specialist residential children’s home in Friday Bridge, Wisbech. This full-time role is an opportunity to work closely with young people who have experienced complex emotional and mental health challenges, helping them to feel safe, understood, and empowered.
What We’re Looking For
A 2:1 or above honours degree in Psychology from a BPS-accredited course (required)
A compassionate and professional approach to working with children and adolescents
The ability to build trusting, therapeutic relationships and maintain strong boundaries
Commitment to working 12.5-hour shifts (8:00am – 8:30pm), including some sleep-in duties
Resilience, emotional intelligence, and a team-player mindset
What You’ll Do
Deliver therapeutic support as part of a structured care plan
Work collaboratively with a team of residential care staff, therapists, and external professionals
Create a safe, nurturing, and consistent environment for young people
Support emotional regulation, social development, and mental health progress
Keep clear records and contribute to ongoing assessments and reviews
