As business Development Manager, you will be working for a leading global logistics provider, responsible for driving new business growth within the road freight sector through proactive field sales and client engagement.

Key Responsibilities:
* Generate and convert new business opportunities (FTL, LTL, groupage)
* Conduct field sales activity, including regular face-to-face client meetings
* Build and manage a strong sales pipeline
* Develop relationships and win long-term contracts
* Prepare proposals, tenders, and pricing solutions
* Negotiate rates and service agreements
* Collaborate with operations to ensure service delivery
* Monitor market trends and maintain CRM reporting
Skills & Experience:
* Proven field sales/BDM experience in road freight/logistics
* Strong knowledge of UK/EU transport markets
* Track record of winning new business
* Excellent communication and negotiation skills
* Commercial awareness and margin focus
KPIs:
* New business revenue
* Gross margin
* Client meetings and conversion rates
* Accounts won and retained
