As our Individual Giving Fundraiser, you'll be at the heart of those stories, helping people honour loved ones, support compassionate care, and make a lasting difference.We're looking for someone creative and organised, who's just as comfortable crafting a powerful appeal letter as they are processing donations and writing heartfelt thank-you messages. You'll play a key role in nurturing relationships with our supporters and bringing campaigns to life across multiple channels. About the RoleYou'll work alongside our Individual Giving Manager to develop and manage relationships with our supporters, from committed regular givers, to people giving a one off donation and those giving in memory of a loved one.You'll play a key role in delivering engaging, meaningful fundraising campaigns and appeals and offering excellent stewardship to our supporters. You'll also create engaging and sensitive communications with our supporters, so they know the impact of their giving. Key ResponsibilitiesBuild strong, compassionate relationships with supporters across in-memory, regular giving, lottery, and appeals which encourage people to donateWrite engaging and sensitive content for letters, emails, social media, and newslettersSupport delivery of multi-channel fundraising campaignsMaintain accurate CRM records and process donations and thank-yousTrack performance and help improve supporter journeys and incomeProvide wider support to the Individual Giving Manager, including identifying opportunities to improve legacy and major donor fundraising What We're Looking ForYou're someone who:Has a talent for storytelling and strong writing skillsHas compassion and sensitivity when engaging with hospice supportersIs confident communicating with a wide range of peopleIs proactive and has excellent organisational skills and attention to detailHas the ability to balance creative work with administrative tasksWants to use your skills to make a genuine differenceYou don't need to come from a hospice or fundraising background — but you do need empathy, professionalism, and a commitment to our values.Ability to travel across our catchment area is essential for this role.
