The Role - Area Sales Manager - South East England
An amazing opportunity to drive and shape a smaller division within a renowned global business. You will be working as an Area Manager, selling their vast range of market leading products across waterproofing, damp proofing and structural repair. Working closely with a supportive and knowledgeable technical design team you will have responsibility for growing specifications, orders and stockists across the South East region - working with developers, housebuilders, contractors and installers as well as back-selling across builders merchants. They have a good presence and excellent data and lead generation tools to support with new business. They need a competent qualified candidate who understands either waterproofing or concrete repair products and a qualification in CSSW is highly desirable. You will receive excellent sales and product training in both UK and European manufacturing sites but previous knowledge or awareness of waterproofing membranes, liquid bonds, coatings and treatments or concrete repair products are a pre-requisite for the role.
For the position of ASM we are looking for individuals who meet some or all of the following criteria:
* Either have sold waterproofing or concrete repair products to either developers, contractors, or distributors and ideally are CSSW qualified.
* Ideally have a track record of new business and are happy selling a vast portfolio of products
* Understanding of the contractor and back sell sales process
* Customer-facing experience and happy on site 4 days a week
* Able to utilise CRM, business tools and lead generation products efficiently
* Tenacious, resilient and a desire to exceed targets
* Must be well presented, ambitious, driven, enthusiastic, articulate, and personable
* Driving licence
