We are hiring a proactive and detail-oriented Business Support Officer (GR3) to join Birmingham Children's Trust. You will play a vital role in supporting frontline services by ensuring high-quality administrative functions, assisting social work teams, and maintaining data integrity that directly impacts children, young people, and families in Birmingham.
Responsibilities:
1. Deliver accurate and timely business support to internal and external customers.
2. Provide leadership and guidance to Business Support Assistants and monitor team output.
3. Manage sensitive and confidential data while ensuring GDPR and policy compliance.
4. Organise and minute sensitive meetings, generate reports, and handle correspondence.
5. Support financial admin tasks, inventory, and troubleshoot basic IT issues.
Requirements:
* Experience in administrative or business support roles, ideally within the public sector or social care.
* Strong organisational skills and ability to prioritise workload.
* Competent in Microsoft Office and case/data management systems.
* Experience handling confidential data and safeguarding-sensitive environments.
* Confident communicator with excellent attention to detail.
