Then we want to hear from you The Utilita Arena Birmingham specialises in creating outstanding events and has an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic Logistics Team Leader to join a lively and dynamic team. This full-time role is well suited to an individual that is looking to advance their career in hospitality and gain hands-on experience in a thriving and supportive workplace. What your day-to-day responsibilities look like: To check the quality and quantity of goods delivered by external and internal suppliers. To ensure all storage locations are kept clean and tidy. To comply with hygiene and health & safety regulations. To liaise with department managers regarding stock levels and reordering of stock. To deliver goods within the venue to kiosks and cellars. To trace deliveries and call stock suppliers when needed. The use of the operating system (Fourth) and regular completion of compliance forms. Skills and Requirements: Previous experience in a warehouse and/or manual labour role. Must be physically capable of lifting heavy goods up to 70kg. A forklift license if preferable but not essential. The ability to communicate effectively within your team. The ability to prioritise workload in a fast-paced environment. Must have flexible availability within a 7-day week. Must have a strong work ethic and be self-motivated.
