Court of Protection Solicitor / Legal Executive
Location: Lincolnshire (flexible)
Hours: Full-time or part-time

An exciting opportunity to join a respected regional practice with a strong reputation for supporting vulnerable and elderly clients. The team is growing and seeking someone with an interest in Court of Protection work.
The Role:
You’ll work closely with clients, families, and professional bodies to manage property and financial affairs under Deputyship. The role is varied, client-focused, and offers strong development potential for someone keen to specialise in this area.
Key responsibilities:
* Managing new enquiries and file opening
* Drafting and submitting Deputyship applications
* Liaising with the Court of Protection, care providers & social workers
* Overseeing client financial affairs and personal administration
* Preparing routine correspondence and reports
* Client visits (full driving licence required)
You’ll also collaborate with internal teams and support ongoing departmental growth.
About You:

* Experience in Court of Protection or Private Client matters
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* Excellent organisation and time management
* A compassionate, professional approach
* Ability to handle sensitive matters with confidence
Open to Solicitors and Legal Executives.
Desirable:
* Previous COP caseload experience
* Private Client/mental capacity background
