FINANCE MANAGER JOB SUMMARY:
We are looking for a qualified, commercially astute Finance Manager with a passion for delivering high-quality financial management and business support. The successful Finance Manager will be joining an established team, and play a pivotal role in driving accurate financial reporting and decision-making across the organization.
This position would suit someone who is focused on progression - both personally and professionally. Our client is going through an exciting phase of growth, and are also diversifying their product and service offering, so the Finance Manager will get involved in exciting projects, and help navigate the business through the next phase of growth, from a finance standpoint.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE FINANCE MANAGER:
Manage all accounting processes and cash management.
Produce and distribute monthly / quarterly reports and accounts.
Provide feedback and advice to senior management and stakeholders, in relation to reporting and other finance matters.
Oversee quarterly forecasting, project and contract reporting, and expenditure monitoring.
Ensure accurate financial recordkeeping and protect sensitive information.
Handle company payroll and liaise with internal and external auditors.
Supervise a small finance team, and encourage a collaborative environment where people are encouraged to learn and develop
Support the senior stakeholders with project related tasks, from a financial / commercial standpoint EXPERIENCE / SKILLS REQUIRED FOR THE FINANCE MANAGER POSITION:
The ideal candidate will be a qualified Accountant with 3-5 years post-qualification experience.
Proficient in ERP and accounting systems, as well as MS Office.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
A good team player, with the ability to supervise and oversee performance within a busy finance department.
Ability to prioritize tasks effectively and work under pressure, with accuracy.
Excellent communication skills and a proactive approach to implementing positive changes.
Project Accounting experience would be ideal, but not essential, provided you are keen to get involved, and further expand your experience in this area. Please note that this is a full time, office-based position. You would be required to work 37 hours per week, over 4.5 days (early finish every Friday!)
