Role Description
We are seeking skilled Chef's for full-time or part-time roles, on-site roles based in Suffolk Care Homes and surrounding regions. The Chef will be responsible for planning and preparing meals in a care home environment, managing kitchen operations, ensuring food safety and hygiene standards, and collaborating with team members to deliver exceptional dining experience for residents ensuring consistency and quality in all dishes served.
Qualifications
* Proficiency in meal preparation, cooking techniques, and food presentation
* Experience in menu planning, ingredient selection, and kitchen inventory management
* Knowledge of food safety regulations and hygiene standards
* Strong organisational and time management skills
* Effective communication and team collaboration abilities
* Previous experience in a professional kitchen or catering environment preferred
* Food safety certification and culinary training are advantageous
* Adaptability, creativity, and a passion for delivering high-quality cuisine
