To help us bring this vision to life, we are seeking a caring, energetic, and proactive Lunchtime Supervisor to join our team.
You will play a key role in shaping children’s play experiences. You’ll help create a safe, stimulating, and nurturing environment where pupils can explore, collaborate, take risks, and thrive outdoors.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Supporting and championing the school’s OPAL play vision every day.
* Encouraging positive, imaginative, and inclusive play across all age groups.
* Supervising children during lunchtime, both indoors and outdoors.
* Helping to set up, manage, and tidy away play resources and zones.
* Promoting independence, problem‑solving, and social skills through play.
* Ensuring the safety and wellbeing of all pupils while allowing for healthy risk‑taking.
* Modelling positive behaviour and supporting children in resolving minor conflicts.
* Working collaboratively with the wider staff team to continually improve play provision.
