Commercial Manager – Equans
Equans is looking for a Commercial Manager to join our team on a permanent basis. This full‑time role is 37.5 hours per week and offers a competitive salary, vehicle or allowance, bonus and benefits package. The role offers hybrid working, with travel required to London.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead the commercial delivery of a significant FM service contract within Equans Sustainable Facilities Management Division and support other contracts as required.
* Provide contract commercial management and profit improvement, risk and opportunity management with a focus on compliance.
* Manage numerous stakeholder relationships, including external relationships with clients, suppliers and leadership functions.
* Hold collective responsibility with the commercial team to improve operations and deliver against financial plans.
* Identify and drive risk and opportunity management to improve financial performance through continuous improvement.
* Lead governance within the contracts to ensure compliance to contractual requirements and Equans’ internal governance processes.
* Ensure awareness of contractual responsibilities among all Equans colleagues regarding service delivery.
* Enforce commercial compliance, rebut unfounded contractual claims and manage contractual claims/disputes.
* Provide day‑to‑day commercial support to the account management teams.
* Build strong relationships with client representatives and support mitigation of risks at all levels.
Qualifications:
* Background in finance, contract management or facilities management.
* Strong financial acumen and ability to analyse complex data.
* Excellent negotiation and commercial management skills.
* Knowledge of risk analysis/management.
* Proficiency with Word, PowerPoint, Excel.
* DBS Basic check required.
