Position Overview
Job Title: General Operatives – Warehouse Sorters/Packers
Location: Newmarket, Suffolk – CB8
Contract Type: Flexible part-time and full-time (day shifts)
Shift Times: Weekdays – 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with the option of longer shifts (up to 12 hours) during busy periods. Weekend work also available (Saturday & Sunday).
Pay Rates: Weekdays (Mon–Fri, day): £12.21 per hour | Weekends & Overtime (after 4:00 PM): £12.71 per hour
Key Responsibilities
* Sorting and organising products accurately
* Packing fruit in line with company guidelines
* Keeping work areas clean and safe
* Following all site health and safety rules
Requirements
* No experience required – full training provided
* Flexibility to work longer hours and weekends when needed
* Local applicants preferred – own transport is an advantage due to location
* Good attention to detail in a fast-paced environment
* Reliable, punctual, and positive team members
* Able to work well both with others and independently
